Facilities

Often there will be a range of facilities at the start and throughout the track to improve the amenity. These include public toilets, huts, shelters, seating and access to water.

Public Toilets

For many people the presence of an accessible public toilet is a must. Look at it from the perspective of wheelchair access, an elderly person or parent with child or baby. Take multiple images. Are paths and doorways at least 800mm wide? Does the toilet have a turn space of 1500mm?

Other Amenities

Document anything that brings a sense of respite or relief. Is there a shelter or seat? Is there fresh, drinkable water available? Or, a place to hose down a dog or dirty boots?
